17-Mile Drive has been a must-do for visitors to
the Monterey Peninsula on California’s Central
Coast since 1881. We’re only 130 miles (209 km)
south of San Francisco, 76 miles (122 km) south of San Jose
and 330 miles (531 km) north of Los Angeles.
Upon payment of your entry fee at any of the five entry
gates into Pebble Beach, you will receive a large colorful
brochure detailing the many scenic and historic points of
interest on the Drive. Sorry, but to help preserve the tranquil
nature of our setting, motorcycles are prohibited.
