Strategic Partnerships: An Overview
• Strategic partnerships are a formal alliance between two or more organizations that are developed and derived to serve as a catalyst of change and/or growth of each of the partner organizations.
• Strategic partnerships include collaborations, cross-pollination of services, consolidations, cause marketing strategic partnerships and alliances that are designed to help strengthen the organizations’ capacity as well as the sector capacity.
• These partnerships are formally approved by each organization, but typically do not take on any formal, legal corporation integration or mergers.
