Volunteers for Pastoral Care.: Southwest Regional Hospital is looking for volunteers to bring Communion, pray with, encourage, upli and support pa ents. RCIA is offered for adults seeking to become Catholic, or adult Catholics seeking to receive First Holy Communion, Confirma on, or have their civil marriage blessed by God’s Church. The Prophets - Video Bible Study: The prophets…they afflict the comfortable and comfort the afflicted, calling us to return to our covenant rela onship with God. Their prophe c words speak to us even today, as they draw us closer to our heavenly Bridegroom. Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Sco will begin The Prophets: Messengers of God’s Mercy on Monday, January 15th from 6:15 p.m. to 7:45 p.m.. This 10-week course will include a video presenta on by Thomas Smith followed by group discussions. The cost for the study materials is $27.00 per set. Interested persons should sign up and pay by December 29, 2017, so that materials can be purchased. This can be done in person at the rectory or by mail (a n: Monica, Prophets). If you already have the materials, please sign up anyway (no fee).

Sacramental Information & New Parishioners Baptism: Expectant parents should contact the office four to six (4 - 6) months before the birth of the child. Marriage: Couples planning marriage need to make an appointment with the pastor at least six months before the intended wedding date to begin the preparation process. A wedding date cannot be scheduled without approval of the pastor.
Anointing of the Sick: Contact the office to schedule an appointment, home or nursing home visit, and, if death is imminent , contact the office for immediate action.
First Communion and Confirmation: Contact the Elementary DRE or High School DRE respectively.
Holy Communion for the Homebound: Contact the parish office to request a visit.
If you are interested in becoming Catholic or receiving Confirmation as an adult, or if you simply want to learn more about your faith, contact the office to inquire about RCIA. “Jesus said to them, ‘Come, and you will see’” (John 1:39).
