HELLO STUDENT!It’s great to have you at Frontline Church whether it’s your first time here or you’ve been a member for years.
In order to grow in God when you are away from home, it is so important that you get the right group of friends around you. Frontline is a home from home for many students and you can be one of them.
This year we are excited to have a student team at both our Wavertree and Central locations who just can’t wait to meet you!

Missional Communities! All our students join missional communities and they would love to welcome you. They are a great place to make friends, have fun, connect with Jesus and learn to share your faith with uni mates. Meeting on Tuesday nights they launch back on September 16th. Spaghetti bolognese Student Classic! (serves 2-4)Ingredients500g/ 1lb mined beef2 medium sized onions, peeled and diced1 chicken stock cube1 tin of tomato puree (they're always under 20p!)Water (the equivalent of 2 tins of puree)1 clove of garlic (optional)Small amount of olive oilSpaghetti (i don't know what quantity to give as it depends on how many people you're feeding)
MethodNote: It is better to use a deep large saucepan for this recipe.1. Heat the oil in the pan and add the onions and garlic (stirring continuously).2. When the onions go translucent, add the mince and brown. Separate the mince with a wooden spoon as you can sometimes end up with lumps.3. When the mince is brown, drain off all the liquid and add the stock cube (stirring so they dissolve). 4. Add the tomato puree and cook for a few minutes. 5. Add 2 tins of water (using the tomato puree tin) and stir. Add a glass of red wine for flavour if you want.6.Cover and simmer for 40 mins 7.Cook spaghetti, following the cooking instructions on pack
Note: You can pretty much add any veg etc that you want to this recipe, just play about with it. You could also freeze this in portions and eat later that week!
VolunteeringAnother great way to get to meet people and to serve others is to join one of the many teams or projects with the church.
