“I had always wanted to visit Japan and learn more about the culture. I grew up watching and reading anime, and the Japanese cartoons were my companions in my silent world. I was in awe when I visited Tokyo, seeing how the entire city displays new technology and was impressed with the many applications of technology that the Japanese society applies to their daily life. My experience in Japan inspired me even more to study digital media, especially 3D design, because I can see how valuable and applicable it is to real life.”
