2. Engine Compartment
Check and record the make and serial number of battery
− Record battery voltage (OCV), fluid level & specific gravity
− Tighten battery terminals and apply petroleum jelly (If required)
− Update battery warranty card in Service Information Guide Check fluid levels for –
− Engine oil/ Coolant/ Windscreen Washer Fluid Front/ Brake Fluid/ Clutch Fluid (In case of MT)
− Check and record the Engine number & VIN number.
3. Interior
Check function of Exterior lamps / lights - Headlamp – High/Low beam, DRL (If Applicable), Flash & Position lamps/ Headlamp leveling system (If Applicable)/ Fog lamps (If Applicable)/ Tail lamps/ Reverse lamps/ Stop lamps/ Direction Indicator/ Registration plate lamps/ Hazard warning Check function of Interior lamps / lights - Door Ajar Lamps (If Applicable)/ Puddle Lamps (If Applicable)/
Glove Box lamp (If Applicable)/ Front Roof lamps/ Key ring Illumination (If Applicable)/ Central Roof Lamp (If Applicable)/ Reading Lamps (If Applicable)/ Ambience Lamps at Roof Console (If Applicable) Check Passenger Airbag Activation Status –

Passenger Airbag Activation SOP – (MX Variant)
Ignition “ON”
Press IC menu button on Dashboard
Go to “Settings” option, as shown
Scroll down and select “Passenger Airbag” and press enter button
Select passenger airbag “ON” option and press enter button
Prompt message of “confirm Passenger Airbag ON?” will appear in IC
Select “Ok”, then system will activate the passenger airbag

Touch on “Setting” Icon as shown
Select “Date & Time” as shown
Set Date → Select desired Date Format i.e. DD/MM/YY or MM/DD/YY, as shown
Set Date → Select correct date by scrolling tabs and press on “Set”, as shown
Set Time → Select desired Time Format i.e. 12 Hour or 24 Hour, as shown

Automatic Date and Time Selection – Sync to GPS: Activate “Sync date & time to GPS” to update the date and time from the GPS satellite. If ‘Sync to GPS’ is activated, then manual setting of date and time will be disabled.
