Occupation – Student: Masters of Teaching (Secondary)
Hobbies – Travelling, watching historical television dramas,
being with friends, playing board games, shopping Ambitions - To complete my university degree and start my
career as a high school teacher. Travel more in Europe, the UK
and possibly North America.
Chantelle Gorman
Representing Berrigan A.&H. Society Age – 22
Occupation – Farmer
Hobbies – Playing netball, going to the gym. I like to think of
myself as a bit of a jack-of-all-trades, so I guess that’s kind of an interest...
Ambitions – To be the 4th generation on our family farm as I
have grown up loving farming. I’d love to continue our family
tradition of having a mixed farm with beef cattle, meat & wool sheep, and mixed cropping with cereal, legume and fodder
crops. I would also love to upgrade my HR licence to a HC or MC by this time next year.
Jessica Neale
Representing Cootamundra A.P.H.&I. Society Age - 24
Occupation - Policy Advisor, NSW Minister for Education;
Student: Bachelor Arts – Secondary Education & English Hobbies – Spending weekends in Cootamundra. I love
everything outdoors, especially camping, gardening and kayaking, and relish the chance to get off-the-grid on multi-
day hikes. Ambition – Once I graduate with my teaching degree, I hope
to be placed in a rural or remote school.
Rose Nevinson
Representing Deniliquin P.&A. Society Age - 21
Occupation – Trainee Woolbuyer
Hobbies – I currently breed my own Merino Sheep, and have
a strong passion for Merinos and Wool. I also enjoy painting and drawing, as well as motorbike riding and getting outdoors.
Ambitions – My goal is to have my own Merino Stud by the
end of the year, and eventually help others improve their own Merino Flocks. I would also like to help people understand
more about the wool industry.
Georgia Webb
Representing Finley Show Society Age – 18
Occupation – Student: Bachelor of Global Studies with
Diploma of Languages in French Studies Hobbies – I love animals, which led to my becoming an ANCC
registered Cavy Stud (Guinea Pigs). I also enjoy reading, and
became a BETA reader for author W.R. Gingell. I enjoy music, leading singing at church.
Ambitions – I intend to work in the human rights field and, in
doing so, make a meaningful impact on the world. I hope to find work in policy or research, particularly with charities such
as World Vision or Compassion, international bodies such as the UN, or the Australian Government.
Georgia Booth
Representing Ganmain Show Society Age – 21
Occupation – Student: Bachelor of Speech and Language
Pathology Hobbies – I enjoy any activity that involves being outdoors. I
enjoy going for hikes, riding, swimming or any sporting
activity. I also enjoying going fishing on the Murrumbidgee River with Dad.
Ambitions – Once graduating from university I hope to travel
to the Northern Territory or Asia working as a Speech
Pathologist. I also hope to one day run a full marathon and hike Mt Everest Base Camp.
Bronte Koster
Representing Griffith Show Society Age - 24
Occupation - Speech Pathologist specialising in Paediatric
Disability; Diagnostician Student Hobbies - I’m an avid poultry fan and have taken special
interest in the breeding of rare duck breeds. Ambitions – My long-term goal is to set up a rural diagnostics
clinic to serve the demand in our region. I am also determined to research the impact of these conditions (Autism Diagnosis
and in Foetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder) on rural communities. I believe this would increase awareness and
funding for children in my regional area and others.
Georgia Knight
Representing Hillston Show Society Age – 19
Occupation – Bartender Hobbies – My hobbies include painting, crocheting, puzzles
and cooking. I also helped coach the Hillston Swans Under 10s
Netball team.
Ambitions – This year I want to start studying again and I am
currently looking into online courses for Rural Sciences, and maybe later on Archaeology. I am also hoping to travel
overseas this year.
Philippa Bowler
Representing Holbrook Show Society Age – 18
Occupation – Waitress; Student: Early Childhood
Hobbies – Hockey, athletics, horse riding and showing cattle. Ambitions – I am aiming to complete my training in Early
Childhood so that I can work with and teach small children. In
the future I hope to obtain further experience in a range of sporting areas so that I may be able to help to inspire younger
children, particularly girls, to have a go at a wide range of activities.
Sara Makeham
Representing Junee Show Society Age – 21
Occupation – Domestic Violence Caseworker
Hobbies – Mostly reading and learning new instruments. I
also have recently taken up needlework. I am also an avid hockey player.
Ambitions – My goal is to be a community police officer,
taking a community-orientated approach to tackling local issues on crime and safety issues, and helping to make a
difference in the lives of rural and small communities.
Grace Skipworth
Representing Lake Cargelligo Show Society Age – 22
Occupation – Disability Support Worker ; Student: Bachelor
of Business Management Hobbies – Netball and gardening
Ambitions – Achieve a degree in Business Management with
a joint study in accounting, gain experience in the workforce to
eventually use my knowledge to help struggling businesses in small communities.

Representing Leeton Show Society Age – 23
Occupation – Retail Sales Consultant
Hobbies – Football, rodeos and horse riding, travelling, water
skiing, and fishing/camping
Ambitions – To create more buzz about the Showgirl
Movement and how fun this experience can be; to show that it is all about creating opportunities and memories of a lifetime.

Representing Lockhart A.&P. Society Age – 24
Occupation – Barmaid & Nanny Hobbies – Swimming, music, animals, dance (Ballroom, Jazz &
Ballet), art, and anything outside I enjoy painting and drawing,
and love any kind of challenge or anything new. Ambitions – To go back to pharmacy one day, and to have
more children.

Representing Temora Show Society Age – 21
Occupation – Casual Childcare Educator, Casual Service

Ambitions – To work for a year then begin my primary
teaching degree next year.

Representing The Rock Show Society Age – 23
Occupation – PDHPE Teacher
Hobbies – I enjoy playing sports and being outdoors. I also
enjoy volunteering, as well as listening to country music and
attending concerts.
Ambitions – My main career goal for the next year is to have
established the Duke of Edinburgh’s Award in my current
workplace and have many students successfully engaging in the award program.

Representing Ungarie Show Society Age – 21
Occupation – Tutor, Student: Bachelor of Education Hobbies – Travel, reading, history
Ambitions – After university I want to return home to teach
in rural areas. I also want to travel.
Kate Webster
Representing Wagga Wagga Show Society Age – 24
Occupation – AAO, Student: Bachelor of Agricultural Science
Hobbies – I love travelling and experiencing new cultures. I
also enjoy spending time with my pets, tutoring and reading in my spare time.
Ambitions – I would like to eventually complete a PhD in
relation to meat production and eating quality. However, my short-term goals include gaining industry experience to
broaden my knowledge of the industry as a whole. I also hope to continue my community involvement through the Show
Society and other organisations.
Aimee Riley
Representing Walbundrie Show Society Age – 22
Occupation – Administration Officer, Student: Bachelor of
Agriculture Hobbies – I currently compete for Jindera in both netball and
tennis. I also enjoy performing and listening to music. Outside of these, I enjoy camping and all other outdoor activities, as
well as reading.
Ambitions – With my degree I hope to bridge the gap with
paddock to plate awareness, get more young individuals (especially women) involved and help farmers work towards
developing sustainable agricultural practices throughout the industry.
Stephanie Judd
Representing West Wyalong Show Society Age – 21
Occupation – Beauty & Skin Therapist
Hobbies – Horse riding (showjumping) and netball
Ambitions – To expand my Beauty & Skin Clinic in West
Wyalong to include advanced skin therapies after having recently completed two advanced skin courses.

Tonight’s raffle is a hamper showcasing the entire South Western and Riverina region, created with local produce, donated by business from towns that hold a
Show from right across our Zone – check out our map on the inside back cover to see all the businesses!
The proceeds from the raffle will be donated to BlazeAid to help their
rebuild efforts of fire affected communities.
Tickets are $5 each or 3 for $10, and can be purchased from Finley Show committee members throughout the evening.
