(U.K., U.S.A. , CHINA, & SWITZERLAND)
This paper studies the major constitutions of the world byadopting a comparative approach. The constitutions and legalprovisions, the ideological basis, the institutional arrangementand their social and economic background are to be explained,analysed and evaluated critically. The historical backgroundsto individual constitutions are to be emphasized to gain anunderstanding of its evolution. The comparative perspectiveenables the student to understand the differences andsimilarities between the various constitutional arrangements.
