Sacrament of Baptism The sacrament of Baptism is celebrated on the first and second Sundays of the month at 1:30pm. Couples who are awaiting the birth of a child are invited to contact the par-ish office to schedule an appointment with one of the priests.
Sacrament of the Sick
The sacrament of the sick is available to anyone who is acutely or chronically ill, or suffering the effects of age. Please speak with one of the priests.

LENTEN NORMS
Ash Wednesday and Good Friday are days of fast and abstinence. All Fridays of Lent are days of Abstinence from Meat.
ABSTINENCE: Forbids the eating of meat and must be observed from the 14th birthday on. FASTING: Only one full meal may be taken. Two smaller meals may be taken to maintain
strength, but these taken together should not equal another full meal. Fasting obliges from the 18th birthday to the 59th birthday.

40 DAYS FOR LIFE Everyone is invited to join other Christians for 40 Days
for Life – forty days of prayer and fasting, from February 14 through March 25, for an end to abortion. You’re also invited to stand and peacefully pray during a 40-day vigil in the public right-of-way near Goshen
Planned Parenthood, 7 Coates Drive. St. John's Church sponsors every Friday during the campaign from 7:00am to 12:00pm. We would like to have at least two prayer volunteers per hour. Sign-up sheets
are in the back of the church if you're available to pray at Goshen Planned Parenthood, OR you can sign up to

There is no 5:00pm Mass on Easter Sunday.
The Sacrament of Penance will be available on Monday, March 26 from 3:00 to 9:00pm in our church and in every parish in the Archdiocese of New York and the Dioceses of Brooklyn and Rockville Centre.
If you’ve been away from confession for a long time, there’s no time like the present to be overwhelmed by God’s mercy!
