CONCERNS OF THE GENERAL PUBLIC
Classroom environment – Lacks • Student centered teaching
• Too many events during school time and only a group of students are permitted
• Competent teachers in subjects like English, Tamil.
• Time for extra-curricular activities.
• Laboratory facilities, Instruments, Text books
• E-Learning facility
• Syllabus and content in text books, including Tamil and history subjects
• Not enough if importance to Value, Emotional and Moral education
• Focus on grade 6 to 8
Teaching and Teacher - Lacks
• Learning not practiced • Practical skills of teachers • Interests in school education • Rewarding committed teachers • Too many training and training during the school

employment and survival in provincial and Sri Lankan context.

• Strengthen year 9 provincial level examination: Test various skills of students, (not only the writing skill).
