Jersey Academy's Technology Use Plan
Presented by Group Theta
Rationale
Jersey Academy has created a technology format to meet the 21st century needs of its faculty and students. Assessing current technology initiatives along with innovative applications presently underway within the academy, we developed a technology plan that will lead the school down a path of strategic growth in a synergistic world. Using a technologically effective and creative approach to learning objectives, this plan allows future leaders to create a tangible road map, which will help students and faculty master technology in the art of learning.

Developing a Plan
Jersey Academy's planning committee has developed the following vision statement for its technology plan. A Vision for Technology Administrators, educators, and students will use technology resources to enhance and expand the traditional role of education. The overall goal of education is to prepare our students for life-long success in society. However, technologies such as computers, wireless Internet, and online software systems offer ways to improve the school community and the lives of students and teachers outside of Jersey Academy. Jersey Academy has the following responsibilities: • learning about technology and creating innovative ways to integrate it within
the curriculum• maintaining and supporting these technologies within the school environment• using these technologies to further professional development and collaborative
education• meeting educational standards at the district, state and national levels
This technology plan will outline our goals and objectives for turning this vision into reality.
