WELCOME
Our online courses are designed for youth workers, teachers and all educators who wish to develop or improve their knowledge and skills to confidently design and deliver digital projects for young people. Three simple steps:
1. Choose whether you would like to start with a Digital Creativity or STEAM online course.
2. You will also receive an exciting Digital Creativity or STEAM Starter Kit full of equipment to run projects, delivered to your door.
3. On completion of the Digital Creativity or STEAM course you receive access to the Join the TechSpace Online Network online course. On completion you receive a 1 year membership to the TechSpace Online Network.

DIGITAL CREATIVITY | ONLINE COURSE

ONLINE COURSE | 4 WEEKS
Each week participants complete a:
➔ 1 hour group webinar with Course Tutor to learn new, methods,
techniques, activities and how to use the equipment.
➔ 1 hour of self directed learning on the online course platform
➔ 1 hour practice session with young people (where possible)
Receive a TechSpace Certificate of Achievement on completion.
KEY LEARNING OUTCOMES
1. Learn how to use digital creativity to build 21st century skills in young
people; creativity, collaboration, communication, critical thinking,
digital and media literacy.
2. Understand the principles of photography, filmmaking and audio
production and how to facilitate these with young people.
3. Learn how to use free and low cost apps for photography, filmmaking,
and storytelling with young people.
4. Learn how to facilitate young people to use mobile equipment (tablets,
smartphones, microphones, rigs, lighting, etc.) to record, edit, and
publish their projects.
5. Learn to design and plan a range of digital projects for young people.
6. Gain access the TechSpace Online Network to further your learning
with activity guides, session plans, logic models and more. Ongoing
support from our Education Officers is available by email and phone.

Receive a 1 year membership to the TechSpace Online Network.

WHO IS THIS FOR
Discover the benefits of joining the TechSpace Online Network, an online
community of practice for youth workers, teachers and educators. The
platform will provide you with comprehensive step by step activity
guides to support you to deliver exciting digital creativity and STEAM
projects to young people.
Other features include programme planning resources, the latest
publications related to educational technology and youth development.
As a member you join the TechSpace Network, a nationwide network of
youth workers, teachers and educators passionate about digital and
STEAM education for young people in Ireland.
You can also exchange best practice with your peers and receive ongoing
support from the TechSpace Education Officers at Camara Education
Ireland.
ONLINE TRAINING | 2-3 HOURS
Participants complete self-directed short sessions on the Camara Learning
Academy. You will sign up and become a member of the TechSpace Network
and meet the TechSpace Team in a webinar call.

mission, ethos and how it works.
2. Learn about the TechSpace Network and how it can benefit you.
