Any license that wishes to practice termite control activity in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi is required to comply with the requirements related to the activity
of public health pest control as a condition for obtaining a license to practice a termite activity. It is also required to add the activity to the active trade licenses
at the Department of Economic Development (DED) before applying for the license to practice the profession from the Center of Waste Management
(Tadweer), noting that the documents required to obtain the license are described in the electronic services at Tadweer web portal.
It also requires some additional technical requirements that will ensure the e�ective and safe application of termite control. The following table shows the
technical requirements for termite control activity.

All termiticides will be checked during the inspection

carried out at he time of permitting process and also
there will be other random �eld inspections.

Companies are permitted to use only termiticides that match the following conditions:

Provide quali�ed

The facility practicing Termite Control is required to have the necessary technical skills
to practice the activity through the provision of technically quali�ed sta� with su�cient
experience and knowledge.
Tadweer periodically reviews the records of termite
pesticides upon renewal of the license and randomly
through �eld visits.
Keep records
The center will interview the engineer and workers
personally to con�rm their technical quali�cations
and require that the sta� successfully pass the interview
to obtain a license to practice a termite activity. The

control pesticides including pesticide bills, termite service contracts, pesticide consumpt
