WebWayOne Alarm System integration improves security
and reduces costs
WebWayOne and Texecom have integrated the WebWay IP/GPRS and
WebWay GPRS/PSTN to provide Insurance Class Alarm signalling
including the six essential elements of a fully managed Alarm System.
Simple installation and commissioning
The WebWay solution is quick and easy to install and commission with
your chosen ARC. A cable to the Alarm System, a two-wire connection
for power, an Ethernet cable to the Router and locate the aerial.
Our Auto Take On process completes the WebWay installation. The
WebWay servers automatically programme the WebWay to work
seamlessly with the Texecom to enable SIA alarms, Upload Download
and secure remote access using the Texecom Wintex software.

Automatic SIA 3 with text enriched messages All alarms generated by the Alarm System are automatically sent to the AMS using SIA. SIA messages provide a full audit trail of an event - which detector, location, time and date, and a permanent record of every alarm. Messages for set and unset include who, where, time, and date, all recorded. No need to check that each PIN is correctly wired; the Texecom and the WebWay take care of everything automatically.
Wintex Settings
Important: The WebWay SPT should be connected to Com port 1.
All settings are configured with the Wintex Communications menu (7th option down on the left side of the Wintex program labeled Comms). This can
be configured on a local PC plugged on to Com Port 2 with the WebWay unit running on Com Port 1. (In keypad settings leave Com Port 2 as
unassigned, when the PC cable is connected it will automatically detect and allow you to configure settings).
Texecom 88/168/60 Series
The Texecom panel configuration is uploaded via the Wintex software and downloaded to the panel on com port 2 from a local PC. The following

A special version of the 816 known as the “Premier 816 WWO” is
shipped with special software which allows it to communicate with the
2424 SPT, however it does not have a dialer which means that it can
only be used with the 2424 system.
Note that a cable assembly is required , which WebWayOne can supply
although any 5-Way Molex type connecter can be modified.
The Texecom main board assembly has only 1 Com port on the PCB
with a 5-pin connection interface. This connects to the TTL R, T and
gnd terminals of the WebWayOne 2424 panel interface. This means
that a local PC and the 2424 SPT cannot be connected to the panel at
the same time. When connecting the local PC, leave the SPT
disconnected for about 30 seconds before connecting to the PC. This
should ensure that the panel recognizes that the SPT has been
disconnected.
If there are problems establishing communications with the local PC,
try entering user code + menu + 7 on the panel keypad (abort all
communications).
