THE AWESOME ADVENTURES TO
GRANVILLE ISLAND
SCAVENGER HUNT
We walked around Granville for awhile
observing our surroundings and taking pictures. We
found the experience to be awesome.
While walking around Granville Island we came across an ice cream store. We found the ice
cream to be expensive but definitely worth it.
ICE CREAM
FEEDING THE BIRDS
When we were walking around we ran into a friendly group of birds that had a love for crackers and cookies. We let them fly into out hands and they let us feed them.
INTERVIEW We chose to go to a very nice little
shop called “StoneAge Art Company. The store has sculptures made out of soap, spring and opal stones. They carve the stone out of hammers and chisels and finish the sculpture with fire and maybe even some beeswax. The sculptures range anywhere from 20$-25 000$. We e learnt that the art sells itself. You can’t “make” the person love the art . So, the art speaks for itself. All of these pieces of art are made in Zimbabwe.
After we walked around and interviewed StoneAge Art
Company, we joined with the rest of the class to watch
Bard on the Beach. We felt that the play was very well
acted out. One thing we didn’t like though, was that MacBeth didn’t show very much struggle towards not wanting to kill Duncan. He could’ve acted it out much
better. All in all, the Granville Island experience
was awesome.
