We had close to forty people attend our cluster-wide study and discussion on the sacrament of reconciliation. Thank you to everyone who participated! All of your insights and experiences added so much to our discussion. I'd also like to thank the thirty-five women who came to the Women’s Advent Morning of Reflection last Saturday. I pray that the spiritual fruits from our time together continue to grow within you during this season of Advent. Please note that our Women’s Group will meet at 6:30 p.m. this week instead of 7:00.
All Saints-St. Mary’s Adoration Please note Changes: No Adoration on December 24th. December 31st will be 8:00 a.m. to 5:20 p.m.
If you are in the Hospital, please let Fr. Gregory know. He cannot visit or even pray for you if he does not know. He tries to get to St. Cloud once a week for visits. In Bowlus, let the Social Justice Committee know and all three parishes should let the prayer line people know. Let us pray for you!

A question asked of Fr. Gregory: How can Lay people touch the monstrance with their hands? Doesn’t a priest have to protect the Eucharist? Answer: Trained Eucharistic Ministers, who I trust to protect the Eucharist and be very reverent, are in charge of exposing and reposing the Blessed Sacrament in our parishes when we have all day Adoration. I cannot make all of the times needed. The Humeral Veil and Cope that the priest uses during Benediction isn’t so that he doesn’t touch the Monstrance. It is so that when you are receiving a Blessing you do not see his hands or body. It is Christ giving a Blessing not a human priest.

All Saints Christmas decorating Decorating for the blessed Christmas season at All Saints-St. Mary’s will be Sunday, December 23rd after the 8:00 a.m. Mass. Please consider helping to prepare the church for this glorious season. Thank you. All Saints Building Committee update: Each week we will include some of our parishioner’s responses regarding the future of our churches: 1. We are very excited to build the new church FINALLY. We under-stand the cost involved with building and demolition but feel we need to move forward. We feel the location at St. Mary’s would work while we hold Mass at St. Hedwig’s. One suggestion would be to have a multi purpose area. The classrooms only get used one evening a week, funerals are held during the day and a gathering space for before and after Mass. 2. What about volunteer work. Prices seem high. i.e. the stairs. 3. Leave the church alone. 4. Need one new church to bring both churches together. 5. If we go with option number 4 ( Fundraise, re-evaluate the spaces, stop duplicating the worship space, use one church for something else other than a church and fix everything. Continue two locations) and say St. Hedwig’s becomes Faith Formation classrooms, would there still be a chapel area? We go into the church for prayer and meditation for all grades. If we build-is there anyone interested in donating 5 acres in the City of Holdingford limits or interested in selling it to us? Please contact Bob Pueringer 746-2492 or Alan Fedor 493-5465 by January 31st, 2019. Thank you. New Building Committee Members– Are there 2 or 3 parishioners who would like to join our building committee? We are in special need of young people, young married people and women. Contact Fr. Gregory. Next meeting is in Early February. Prayer Group needed We are in need of some (about 5) people willing to sit on a committee to plan prayer times and opportuni-ties as we move forward with the plan for the future of our church. Contact Deb Binsfeld from All Saints Parish Council if interested. No future planning and unity will happen correctly without Prayer! When will the decision be made? Hopefully, in the early part of this 2019 year. What are some facts missing before making a decision? 1. Is there any land that is neutral? 2. Can we fundraise enough? 3. How can you be part of the solution, not the problem? 4. How do we get our young generations involved in this process? 5. How do we stay proactive before the shortage of priests happens? Please write to Father and the Building Committee with your Advice!
