ENERGY-PLUS-HOUSE DORTMUND
Made by: Jacob and Feike
Index
- First project- Second project- Heating- Energy generation- Sustainable elements- Drawings of the house- Conclusion- End of the presentation
First project
- First project was Czech Republic- House- Hotel- Had different sustainable facilities- Little of information about the energy
plus house
Second project
- Second project is Dortmund, Germany- Designed by a group of students- Build in 2007
Heating
- Using blades with solarcells- No Geothermal- Using Heat pumps for hot water and
heat indoors- Much insulation applied
Energy generation
- Use of a second facade- Blades with solar cells on the South,
East and West side- Solar panel on the roof- Connected to the mains, but only to the
selling energy
Sustainable elements
- North glass is four-layer- East- South and West side are three-
layer
Drawings of the house
Section wall with Blades Floor plan: first floor + second floor
Conclusion
Solar panels are nicely incorporated into the blades.
House produces more energy than it cosumes.
FOREIGN PROJECT TO DOMESTIC PROJECT
Made by: Jacob, Feike, Pieter and Bonne
Foreign project- Solar cells on blades
- Using a heat pump for heating and making electricity
- Has a veranda that saves heat
- Modern look
- Remaining energy is sold
Domestic project- There is an electric car drive on the remaining
energy
- Traditional look
- Using geothermal and sun for making heat
- Base is made by waste
Conclusion
- Choice goes to Leusden
- Leusden has a traditional look
- The remaining energy is better spent
- Base is made by waste
