September 11th, 2001 is a day nobody well soon
forget. On this tragic day many loved ones passed,
but memories are never forgotten. This year we, the
Gamma Lambda chapter, took the initiative to help
the office of student involvements and activities plan
a day of remembrance. The brothers panted 441
flags near park library and in front of the University
Center in honor of the 441firefighters and police officer who
lost their lives on that tragic day.
Later that day all Greeks were
invited to a ceremony to
recognize the many different
police and firefighter stations

Homecoming2 13
This year the brothers of the GammaLambda chapter worked extremely
hard to put on the best homecomingexperience possible for alumni
members. Vice President of AlumniRelations, brother Jake Fleming, said
he wanted to make this homecoming oneto remember. This year we decided tostart the week off with an alumni date
party where active members got to reuniteand/or meet with Gamma Lambdas alumn
base. Per tradition the morning ofhomecoming the annual pig roast began.
We would like to personally thank Mr.Karcher and many others for making thepig roast possible. We would also like tothank all of the alumni who were able tomake it out and make this year such a
