It is 8,851.8 kilometers (5,500 miles includes mountains) from east to west of China.
It is one of the wonders of the world It was created in the Ming Dynasty Construction Period: About 2,000 years from
the Warring States Period (476 BC - 221 BC) to Ming Dynasty (1368-1644)

Most of the great wall that I saw was created during the Ming dynasty
The wall was created to protect them from intruders
It was not known as the great wall until the Qin dynasty
What was the purpose of the” Great Wall.”
The wall was built to protect the soldiers from their enemies. (Mongdians)
Every emperor spent money on the building of the wall
It was not created in one era and was worked on by many dynasties
Beacon tower was a part of the wall where they would send smoke signals and alert the soldiers that they were being attacked.

There is now a modern section of the wall
There is tobogan slide that can be taken from a certain section of the wall, and will take you back to the bottom of the wall
There are cable cars that have to be taken in order to get up to the wall and walk around
You can not gain access to the wall by walking from ground level.

This section of the wall was built under the supervision of General Xu Da of Emperor Zhu Yuanzhang in the Ming Dynasty
Forts were built on 2 sides of the wall There were 3 watch towers built A tower called Zhengguan, which
could be rarely seen on the great wall
The Northwest part of the the wall was constructed on 1,000 mountain high ridge
