Museum Tips
> The Museum offers many ways to visit for free. Please visit our Plan Your Visit page under Museum Free Days at NHM.ORG to learn more.
> Buy your tickets online in advance. We scan your ticket straight from your smartphone. You can also print your ticket at home.
> Parking is available for $12 in the Natural History Museum’s Car Park on Exposition Blvd. and Bill Robertson Lane. There is limited parking available, including a limited amount of ADA spots available for Guests with visible ADA placards. If the Car Park is full, additional parking is available at the Expo Park Parking Structure also for $12 (Cash Only). From this lot just follow the signage and the directions of our friendly Guest Relations staff.
> Wi-Fi is available during museum hours.
> There are family restrooms located on each floor, please check your map for locations.
Museum Rules
1. I will stay with my family or caregiver when we are in the Museum.
2. I will use my indoor speaking voice.
3. I will walk within the Museum.
4. I will respect the live animals in the Nature Lab by keeping my hands off the glass.
Instructions
Before your visit, print out the checklist and picture pages to help you plan your time at the Museum. You can read about each room on our website and our sensory map to decide where you want to go. Cut out the cards for each area you want to visit, and attach them to your checklist. You may want to leave some spaces blank so you can add to your list during your visit. Bring your checklist with you the Museum. You may also want to bring the set of cards to say when you need to take a break, use the restroom, etc. If appropriate, please go over the “Museum Rules” below prior to your visit.
