Brothers and sisters, We are at the beginning of a new year! We all know that “new” means opportunities and challenges for our own personal life, the life of our families and our parish too. I would like, in order to prepare ourselves to receive these opportunities and challenges as a gift from God, to invite you to an afternoon of prayers and encounters. On September 14th St.Paul and St. Agnes will have, in collaboration with Heart’s Home USA – the community to which we belong with Fr. Paul – a pilgrimage in our neighborhood. We will start at 2pm at St. Agnes, with a word of welcome and a first meditation. From there we will walk toward St. Mary Star of the Sea followed by Sacred Heart and Saint Stephen to end at St. Paul. In each church we will have a time of mediation and prayer. At 4pm we will pray in the front of the Blessed Sacrament at St. Paul Church meanwhile priests will be available for confession. At 5:30pm we will celebrate the Eucharist. We won’t have Mass that Saturday at St. Agnes. After the Mass everybody is invited at St. Paul Hall for a potluck dinner and gathering. At that time, we will introduce Heart’s Home USA, our mission and the other affiliated members of this missionary group. We are delighted to enjoy this time with you. Yours in Christ Fr. Alex

Hermanos y Hermanas, ¡Estamos al comienzo de un nuevo año! Todos sabemos que "nuevo" significa oportunidades para nuestra propia vida personal, la vida de nuestras familias y nuestra parroquia también. Quisiera, para prepararnos para recibir estas oportunidades como un regalo de Dios, invitarlos a una tarde de oraciones y encuentros. El 14 de septiembre, San Pablo y Santa Inés tendrán, en colaboración con Heart’s Home USA, la comunidad a la que pertenecemos con el Padre Paul - una peregrinación en nuestro barrio. Comenzaremos a las 2pm en Santa Inés, con una palabra de bienvenida y primer meditación. Desde allí caminaremos hacia St. Mary Star of the Sea seguido de Sacred Heart y Saint Stephen para terminar en San Pablo. En cada iglesia tendremos un tiempo de mediación y oración. A las 4 de la tarde rezaremos frente al Santísimo Sacramento en la Iglesia de San Pablo mientras los sacerdotes estarán disponibles para confesión. A las 5:30 pm celebraremos la Eucaristía. No tendremos misa ese sábado en Santa Inés. Después de la misa, todos están invitados al salón de San Pablo para una cena y reunión.
