Survey: What assistance has been most helpful?
• Host Regional Meetings: provide opportunities to learn from other states, network
• Research, collect data and provide Information on hot topics, best practices & models, and info on what other states are doing
• Links to: national resources, specialized consultants, similar programs
• Assistance targeting SPED triggers/indicators
Survey response cont.

calls
What could the RRCP do to further assist you?
• Regional in-person meetings (8), provided states can travel. (2) [Note: one state would prefer to meet with states of like size, not necessarily from its host region]– Could ID topics ahead of time, invite expert
presenters or grantees– be data driven & aligned with High quality PD or collaboration
• One solution is to host short online exchanges & collaboration opportunities.
• Standard assistance across the RRCs
Survey responses cont.
• Supporting SPDG (PLC) communities, doing quick information searches.
• Provide resources in timely manner• Capacity building of districts on eval/data collect• Assist in discussions with key stakeholders • Provide evaluative data re what’s working with
other SPDGs or "system" improvement activities ...and related resources – Bring key information about "what works" to the
State Leadership Team
How can the RRCP and SPDG Program connect?
Program to Program…• Providing access to RRCP Knowledge
Management System • Access to state “sorting” mechanism to
see potential connections between SPDGs to other state initiatives.
• Access to RRCP TA activities underway in states.
• Access to updates on RRCP Priority Team activities.
• RRCP provides overview of needs/issues emerging from their Annual APR review process.
How can the RRCP and SPDG Projects connect?
Individual state projects…• RRCP state liaison has awareness of state
SPDG initiatives in order to make potential connections to TA.
• RRCP staff works with SPDG staff on improvement planning/improvement strategies (e.g., evaluating effectiveness, building connections between initiatives)
• Cross-state meeting around topics of interest (e.g., evaluation, implementing best practice)
