This chart shows the difference in slope between PC’s sales and mobile device sales.
WHAT DOES THIS MEAN? We are in a mobile digital world now days. Businesses and websites need to change

THE SDDS MOBILE MAP VIEWER
Data can be viewed on the National level and on the State level
TECHNOLOGY USED IN THE MOBILE MAP VIEWER Web friendly HTML: runs on both desktop and mobile browsers System is deployed on Amazon EC2 Cloud Servers (Part of the Geocloud program) Latest Esri Technologies:
JavaScript API version 3.0 ArcGIS Server 10.1 – released June 12, 2012
TECHNOLOGY USED IN THE MOBILE MAP VIEWER
Uses retina-quality images that look good on a regular tablet and look good on the new retina-display iPad.
Since this web app was written with HTML5, JavaScript, and CSS, it will run on any 10” tablet device that supports JavaScript.
WHAT THIS TECHNOLOGY MEANS FOR THE USER?
Since it is using the newest ArcGIS Server, 10.1, it allows for a lot of the applications work to be done on the server and not on the actual device.
WHAT THIS TECHNOLOGY MEANS FOR YOU?
You can select different ways to distribute the data to help you see the differences between school districts, counties, and states all with the touch of a button.
WHAT THIS TECHNOLOGY MEANS FOR YOU? Mobile SDDS offers five new base maps from
ArcGIS.com

New Optional Layers
WHAT THIS TECHNOLOGY MEANS FOR THE USER?
Has the ability to be saved to the users home screen so they can view it in full screen as if it were a native application.
