There is a complimentary shuttle bus service from Hull Paragon Interchange to the campus during the morning and a return service 2.30 – 4.45 pm. Look out for our University Representitives who will guide you.

THE LAWNS HALLS OF RESIDENCE
A complimentary shuttle service to, and guided tour of, our Halls of Residence in Cottingham. Tours depart from the Venn Building every 15 minutes from 9am until 2.45pm. Look for the flags. *Visitors are very welcome to make their own way to the Halls of Residence (HU16 5SN) and join a guided tour. Please note: student rooms are open for viewing until 3.30pm.

Take the free shuttle service to enjoy a guided tour of our fully-catered Traditional Hall of Residence. Tours depart every 30 minutes between 10am–2.30pm from the Venn Building. *Please note that parking is not available at Thwaite Hall.

Tour the city with our resident expert and a current student. Tours depart at 10am, 11am, 1pm, 2pm and 3pm* from the front of the Venn Building; just look for the flags. *The 3pm tour includes a drop-off at the Hull Paragon Interchange at approximately 3.45pm.

Drop by number 52 Cranbrook Avenue any time throughout the day (9 am – 4 pm) and have a look around one of our student houses. Accommodation Office staff will also be on hand in this property to answer any questions.

Visit our on-campus accommodation any time during the day (9am – 4pm). The Accommodation Office staff will also be available to answer any questions.
TOUR OF THE LIBRARY REDEVELOPMENT
Take a tour to see the exciting new study areas that are part of the £27.4 million Library redevelopment. Just call in to the Library reception between 9am and 4pm.

Tour the University campus with one of our current students. Tours depart every 15 minutes (9 am – 3pm) from the plaza and last approximately 40 minutes. Look for the flags.

This is a non-repayable award of £2,100 given every year for a total of three years of study.
Scholarships are awarded to all eligible Year 1 students who have a residual household income of less than £42,600 per year and who have achieved results of AAB or higher in three A levels (not including General Studies), or equivalent.

UNIVERSITY OF HULL EXCELLENCE SCHOLARSHIP 2016 ENTRY
The University of Hull Merit Scholarship is a non-repayable award of £2,000, to be paid in two instalments (in October and February) during the first year. It is open to all UK and EU students who have achieved results of 300 UCAS points or higher -- or the EU equivalent.
UNIVERSITY OF HULL MERIT SCHOLARSHIP
The University of Hull Bursary is a one-off non-repayable award of £2,100 or equivalent benefit package, given in the first year of study to all UK and EU students with an annual residual household income of less than £25, 000.

UNIVERSITY OF HULL BURSARY 2016 ENTRY
You will be automatically considered for all awards and do not need to apply directly to the University for them, as long as the ‘consent to share’ box on your Student Finance England (SFE) application form is ticked.

Take time out in the peace and quiet of the museum, which exhibits ornate bridal head-dresses and shadow puppets from Indonesia and weapons of Borneo tribesmen.

ACCOMMODATION
A new large-scale accommodation development worth approximately £30m which, will be located on Inglemire Lane, will boast contemporary architecture along with the latest technology and infrastructure. The new project will provide 560 students with accommodation within the campus, features also include en suite facilities to all rooms and a social/learning centre. The development is driven by the incentive to provide the best possible living experience for it’s students.

The development of a new Health Campus at the University of Hull will bring together the Hull/York Medical School with the Faculty of Health and Social Care and establish a new Institute for Clinical and Applied Health Research. The new Health Campus Building will provide specialised medical teaching facilities including a full mock hospital ward, operating theatre and intensive care nursing facilities. In addition to providing extensive collaborative working areas for researchers, postgraduate and undergraduate students, the building houses a large lecture theatre with a completely flexible layout, an extensive atrium housing a café on the ground floor, several fully equipped meeting rooms, a think pod and ‘green roofs’ with external terrace areas.
A new state-of-the-art facility will be coming to the University of Hull, which will benefit the Schools of Drama, Music and Screen. The plans are to renovate the existing Middleton Hall. Additional features will include a high-quality concert hall, a music theatre, and a cinema space. The new facilities will accommodate a broader range of music performances, musical theatre, orchestral recordings and TV capture.

TRAVEL GRANT
The grant is available to all applicants who come to the university for applicant days, inteviews or pre-induction days. Eligible applicants must reside in the UK, and live more than 20 miles from the University campus. The value of the grant will be based on the shortest route from the home address on the applicant’s UCAS application to the University, and will be calculated at the following rates;
Once you’ve applied to us and have been made an offer you’ll be invited to attend one of our Applicant Days, or an interview depending on what course you have applied to study.The days are an excellent opportunity to find out more about the university and get all your questions answered.
