Venue The meeting will be held in Wanda Reign Wuhan Hotel and Wanda Han Show Theater. The plenary session will be held in Wanda Han Show Theater. The parallel sessions are distributed on the 2nd floor (Hong Kong Room) and 3rd floor (Ball Room 1, Ball Room 2 and Ball Room 3) of Wanda Reign Wuhan Hotel. The Poster session will take place on the 3rd floor (Foyer and VIP Room) of Wanda Reign Wuhan Hotel, and the Corridor on the 3rd floor of Wanda Han Show Theater. The Conference office, Chicago Room on the 3rd floor of Wanda Reign Wuhan Hotel on Nov. 5 and 6 and VIP Room on the 3rd floor of Han Show Theater in other days, are provided for speakers to upload and test their presentations during working hours (Non-smoking). In case of any problem about the scientific programme talk upload and others, you can ask for help at the Secretary office (see maps in following pages).
l For plenary sessions, the participants need badges to enter Han Show Theater. The entry time is 8:30 in the morning and 13:30 in the afternoon. Please get your badge before the meeting and don’t forget to carry it during the plenary sessions. The participants can sit in VVIP, VIP, A and B area, and should enter the conference hall from gates at North 2F or south 2F. The plenary speakers waiting for the presentation, please wait in the area D2. The area D2 is at auditorium section 100 200 at south 2F.
l No smoking. Coffee, food and soft drink are not allowed to be brought into the venue.
Student DayStudent day will be held on Sunday November 3rd at Science Hall of Central China Normal University. Students and young doctors who receive financial support are required to attend the lectures on the student day. There will be shuttle bus between hotel and Central China Normal University at student day. The bus will leave at 8 a.m. from hotel to CCNU campus and leave CCNU campus to hotel at 17:30. The enrolled students and young postdocs , please take the bus at the registered hotel.
Instructions for Presenters Plenary and parallel session talks Speakers of the Opening talk, Outlook & Future Perspective talk and Highlights from Experiments have been advised of the time reserved for their talk upon invitation. There will be no discussions for these talks. Other plenary talks are allocated for 25 minutes, plus 5 minutes for discussion and the flash talks have 5 minutes each without discussions (maximum 3 slides). For the speaker waiting for presentation at plenary session, please wait at area D2 or C4. The area D2 is at auditorium section 100 200 at south 2F. Parallel talks are allocated for 15 minutes plus 5 minutes for discussion. All parallel talks are synchronized across all the parallel sessions and it is therefore essential, and session chairs to ensure, that speakers stay within the allocated time for the success of the parallel program. Conference laptops connected to projectors will be used in all sessions. Please prepare the slides in the widescreen format (16:9) for better displays on a LED screen. Please prepare your presentation in Adobe Portable Document Format (pdf) or Microsoft PowerPoint Format (ppt, pptx). No other formats can be supported. All speakers are asked to upload their slides to the INDICO conference server by the end of the day before their presentation. The speakers can upload and test their presentation at the conference office. The conference office is located in the VIP room on the 3rd floor at Wanda Han Show Theater and Chicago room on the 3rd floor at Wanda Reign hotel. Conference office is open during the working hours. In terms of ppt/pptx format, it is speaker’s responsibility to check the quality of the presentation (fonts, layout, audio, video, etc.) before the afore mentioned time deadline. File replacements or direct upload during the sessions are not permitted. Poster presentations:
Poster sessions will be held in the afternoon of Monday, November 4th. The selected flash talks will have 5 minutes each on Saturday, November 9th. The size of the poster must be A0 [84.1 cm (width) x 118.9 cm (height) = 33.11 inch (width) x 46.81 inch (height)] or smaller. The posters should be taken back by the presenter by the noon of Thursday, November 7th. Posters are sorted by topic. The poster stands are labeled and identified with a board number. The list of posters and board numbers can be found on the INDICO site. Posters are grouped by Scientific Track and in alphabetical order according to the presenter’s last name.
Lunch, reception, banquet and social eventsLunch will be served at Wanda Reign Wuhan Hotel. Nov. 4, 8: Lunch will be served on the Cafeteria at 1st floor and Grand ballroom at 3rd floor. Nov. 5, 6: Lunch will be served on the Cafeteria and Japanese Restaurant at 1st floor, New York room at 2nd floor and rooms at 6th floor. II Transportation Note: If you plan to take taxi, please take taxi from the official taxi stations outside gates of airport terminal or railway stations. The conference will take place in the Wanda Reign hotel located in the center of Wuhan. Transportation to Wanda Reign hotel is convenient. From Wanda Reign hotel, it’s about 40 km to Tianhe airport, 20 km to Hankou railway station and 15 km to Wuhan railway station.
The closest subway station by conference venue is Chuhe Hanjie (�� �) Station. Chuhe Hanjie (�� �) Station is on subway line 4. Walking distance from Chuhe Hanjie (�� �) Station, it is about 700 meter to Wanda Reign hotel, 370 meter to Gallery F Hotel, 1.8 km to Wuhan Hongyi hotel, 1.8 km to Jinjiang Inn. From Airport/Hankou railway station to Chu He Hanjie( ) Station Take subway line 2 (Fozhu ling direction ) and travel 20 stops (from airport) or 10 stops (from Hankou station), then transfer to line 4 at Hongshan Square station (
) towards Wuhan Railway Station direction ( ). Then you will arrive Chuhe Hanjie ( ) Station in one stop. It takes 70/35 minutes by subway from Airport/Hankou railway station, respectively.
From Wuhan railway station to Chu He Hanjie( ) Station Take subway line 4 (Bolin / Huangjin Kou direction) and arrive Chuhe Hanjie (�� �) Station in 10 stops. It takes 25 minutes. From Chu He Hanjie( ) Station to Science Hall ( CCNU Campus) Take subway line 4 (Bolin / Huangjin Kou direction) and travel 2 stops, then transfer to
line 2 at Zhongnan Road station ( ) and travel 3 stop to Guangbutun station (
), leave from Exit A, walk back about 100 meter to reach North Gate of CCNU. From north gate of CCNU to Science Hall: Walk along the Guibei road to the front of the administration building, then turn left to Guixi road, walk about 200 meters and then turn right, it takes about 15 minutes by walk. Or you can take the campus bus from the north gate to Science Hall.
