What is the greatest area of student learning need that you are currently focused on in your school? (SIPSA-WB)
What data supports this focus?

Professional Learning Cycle•How does this model connect with what you already know about collaborative inquiry?
•Where does the coach / teacher-librarian fit into this cycle?
Planning Time Reflect on the identified NEED and supporting Essential Classroom
Practice you recorded earlier.
Create an ‘IF… THEN…’ statement that reflects your focus and record on your placemat and copy onto the strip of paper provided for sharing.
e.g. IF I work with teacher A on implementing accountable talk strategies in her literacy program, THEN student engagement levels and thinking will improve.
Brainstorm some ideas for implementing this action plan and consider what evidence you will bring to the next session for sharing.
For our next session…
Bring evidence of student work that relates to your ‘IF…THEN…’ statement.
e.g. response journals, student writing (in progress), descriptive feedback on work (related to success criteria), video clips, blog entries, voice recordings, photos, etc.
