Campus France
• Campus France Agency was created by law on the
July 27th, 2010. It is a public institution in charge of
promoting higher education and managing the
reception and international mobility of students,
researchers, experts and guests.
• Run by more than 300 people trained by the agency,
in close collaboration with educational associations
and the agency's supervising ministries, the spaces
welcome and guide prospective students.
Campus France
• Campus France maintains more than 60 local sites
managed by its offices abroad. Those sites provide basic
information in the 30 languages used by Campus France
to help prospective students explore their interest in the
possibility of studying in France.
• Thanks to its global network of 180 Campus France
Spaces, the agency informs international students about
French higher education, guides them on their choice of
training, helps them complete their application form and
gain a visa. The agency keeps in touch with former
students, particularly through France Clubs.

CUCAS
• The Chinese government launched the "Study in
China Program", hoping to attract 500,000 foreign
students to study in China by 2020.
• CUCAS is an official organization providing
application services across a range of subject areas
and modes of study for China's universities and
colleges
• So far, nearly 200 universities have joined the service
system. Universities have signed Technical Service
Purchase Agreements with CUCAS.

Information Level (Core) Requirements
1. English Website
The institution provides clear and detailed information on its website in each of the following
areas. All the information should be written in English:
• An introduction about the institution (known as “About Us”)
• A brief description about the institution’s schools, research centers, etc.
• Student Life: The institution provides students with comprehensive and accurate
information on housing, dining, transportation, living costs and the city where the
institution is founded.

1. English Website
• List of all programs taught in an international language: Each program should be introduced
to applicants based on detailed and accessible information, including curriculum, admission
requirements, and contact person.

2. Programs
All the academic programs and courses offered to international applicants should be described
in detail and appear in both printed and digital institutional publications.
3. Faculty And Academic Staff
All the academic staff and research supervisors, who are responsible for the coordination and
instruction of international programs and courses, are expected to have an appropriate level of
English proficiency. Documents are needed for proof of qualification.

4. Appropriate Teaching/Learning Facilities
The institution ensures that students have access to the following facilities: Appropriate
classrooms, laboratories, research centers, and other specialized teaching areas.

Take a Self-Evaluation to check if you meet the Core Requirements.
If YES, universities can continue developing their internationalization plan based upon
this fundamental preparedness.
If NO, a «Quality Enhancement Plan» should be devised to fundamentally prepare a
university for future internationalization plans.

1. Mission and Vision
• Standard: The institution should publish a clearly-defined and comprehensive mission on its
website.
• Guidelines:
- The institutional mission addresses institutions’ values, teaching/learning services,
educational purposes, and also indicates the institution’s vision and plans for the future.
- The mission statement should be revealed in the institution’s website after the governing
board's approval.

• Standard: The institution should publish its organizational structure on its website.
• Guidelines:
- It facilitates understanding the information flows between different departments of the
institution.

• Standard: The institution should clearly publish a detailed list of all programs offered to
international applicants.
• Guidelines:
- The institution should provide students with comprehensive pre-enrolment information
including: Entry requirements, program coordinator, language requirements,
curriculum, date of examinations, assessment regulations, and a contact person,
language requirements, fee structure, information and criteria regarding for transfer
of credits

4. Student Admission and Welfare
• Standard: The institution should publish on its website, clear and detailed information about
student admission and welfare.
• Guidelines:
I. Admissions:
- The institution should provide students with a clearly defined admission procedure and
requirements, the programs/courses available, fee charges (application fee, tuition fees
and living costs), living conditions, and accommodation.

II. Student Welfare:
- The institution provides new international students with student handbooks and pre-arrival
information brochures containing accurate information on housing, dining, transportation,
registration for medical treatment, bank account and living costs, and all the other
information that are required for both living and studying in Iran. A brief description about the
city - where the institution is founded - should also be mentioned.

II. Student Welfare:
- For new international students, the institution should arrange an orientation day or week
prior to the commencement of studies in first semester that includes information on student
affairs and services as well as sightseeing trip.
- The institution provides students with an international office where a sufficient number of
qualified staff are available to students to support them on their admission and student visa
process, finding appropriate accommodation, etc.

5. Faculty and Academic Staff
• Standard: The institution should assure that it provides students with qualified, competent
and committed professors and academic staff.
• Guidelines:
- All academic staff/research supervisors responsible for international programs are expected to
have an appropriate level of proficiency in international languages.
- The institution should assure that the number of its faculty and academic staff are enough to
accomplish its educational objectives successfully.

6. Institutional Resources
• Standard: The institution provides students with the following facilities: human resources
and information, physical and technological resources.
• Guidelines:

- The institution provides a sufficient number of qualified and experienced staff in library
and/or other learning/information resources including international office, dormitory
office, and IT department to assist students during their studies.

7. On-going Monitoring and Evaluation
• Standard: The Institution is required to undertake an annual academic review to evaluate its
courses, programs and research activities. The results of these evaluations are used to enhance
fulfillment of the institution’s mission.
• Guidelines:
- Formal input from students and staff should be taken into account during the academic
review process. To do so, the institution should provide students, staff and faculty with regular
education survey and questionnaires.
