Transfer College Day Transfer Admissions Counselors from more
than 50 four-year colleges and universities
will be here to speak with students about
continuing their education after leaving BCC.
Students will be able to meet the people who
will be reviewing their transfer college
applications, evaluating their transfer credits
and making transfer scholarship decisions.
Students should bring a copy of their tran-
script (unofficial is OK) so the Admissions
Counselors can get an accurate picture of
their academic background.

Breaking Transfer News!
UMass Dartmouth has just announced that starting Spring 2015 all students grad-
uating from a BCC MassTransfer eligible program with a 3.0 GPA will be guaran-
teed free tuition. This is a cost savings of $1417.00 per academic year. For a list of

MassTransfer—Transfer Made Easy
This workshop is for students interested in transferring
to UMass or one of the other Massachusetts State Uni-
versities? In this workshop we will explain the
MassTransfer Program, a statewide program that guar-
antees admission, tuition reduction, and transfer of
credit (each based on final GPA). Learn more about the
benefits of graduating from a BCC MassTransfer eligi-
ble program before transferring to a Massachusetts
State University.

In this workshop we will offer tips and advice to help
students develop a competitive transfer admission ap-
plication. Topics will include application deadlines,
needed documentation, application essay topics and
letters of recommendation. We will also present infor-
mation on available transfer scholarships and eligibility

Transfer Evening College Fair BCC transfer students planning
to attend a four-year college or
university in the evening division
should plan to attend BCC’s
Evening College Fair.
Representatives from the
continuing education divisions of
Bridgewater State University,
Eastern Nazarene College,
Johnson and Wales University,
Providence College, Roger
Williams University, UMASS
Dartmouth and Wentworth
Institute of Technology will be on
campus to answer their questions
regarding the evening transfer
process.

again this semester to provide transfer counseling
for students who attend the New Bedford,
Attleboro and Taunton campuses.
Students who plan to continue their education
at a four-year college or university and have
questions regarding the transfer process, should
take advantage of this opportunity and make an
appointment to see the Transfer Counselor.

Four-Year Transfer Counseling Appointments
Students can make transfer counseling appoint-
ments with four-year college representatives to re-
view their BCC transcript and learn more about the
transfer application process without ever leaving the
Fall River campus. The schedule is flexible enough
for students to make appointments with multiple
colleges all on the same day.

will be available to see students by appointment.
