Depart Oxted 4.30pm (Route C) for the journey toLondon for the 7.30pm performance of Andrew LloydWebber’s romantic musical, based on Gaston Leroux’sclassic novel of life beneath the main stage of the ParisOpera House. With lavish sets, costumes and specialeffects, this haunting musical traces the tragic love storyof a beautiful opera singer and a young composershamed by his physical appearance into a shadowyexistence. This beautiful story is set against one of theWest End’s most memorable scores that includes hitsongs such as “The Music of the Night”, “All I Ask of You”,“Think of Me”, and of course, “The Phantom of theOpera”. Marathon by CoachDepart Oxted 9.00am (Route A) for the drive toGreenwich Park where we have the chance for acomfort break and to meet our guide. From here, wedrive the route of the London Marathon, whilst our BlueBadge Guide informs us of the importance and historyof the key landmarks and points of interest along theroute. We take a break at the half-way point (13 miles)for a two-course lunch, before racing to the finish line.Finally, we explore the Mall and take in the glory ofBuckingham Palace and Hyde Park before leaving with asense of achievement knowing we’ve completed theLondon Marathon. Running trainers not necessary!Return leave 3.45pm, arriving back at Sandersteadapprox. 5.15pm. (Please note mixed feeder routes!)
