The Plot
Bella Swan moves to
dreary Forks, WA from
sunny Phoenix, AZ to live
with her dad while her
mom and her new
husband spend some time
together.
Life in Forks is boring and
monotonous, to say the
least, that is, until Bella
meets Edward Cullen…
The Plot, continued
Edward and his family
lead a quite life and try
not to bring too much
attention to themselves.
But then Bella moves to
Forks, and it’s all
Edward can do to stay
away from her, when he
knows that loving Bella
could destroy them all.
The Plot, continued
Edward and Bella must
navigate the limits of
their love for each
other, because, as a
vampire, Edward’s
love for Bella could kill
her. Especially when
the leader of a band of
vampires sets his
sights on possessing
Bella, any way he can.

Pre-teen and teenage girls will more likely enjoy Twilight. It is highly romantic and suspenseful, with a lot of drama. Teenage girls will fall in love with Edward’s character, and they will imagine themselves as Bella.
I recommend Twilight to others because it is a beautifully written story with romance and suspense. There is the element of the forbidden love between Bella and Edward that will have you turning the pages to see what they’ll do next. The theme of good vs. evil is one that is very prevalent in almost all vampire novels, and it helps to make for an exciting read.
