Ugramm 125 Days – A Celebration with FilmySphere
In February 2014, Sri Murali’s most awaited Ugramm released and revived him back while
he waited to make a comeback. With Ugramm, Sri Murali rose like phoenix and reclaimed
his stardom. Before its release, we, at FilmySphere Entertainment Pvt Ltd were acquainted
with the team Ugramm and became their online partners. Throughout its run post release,
FilmySphere promoted Ugramm online to cater to both mass and class audience. The efforts
yielded well for both the film and FilmySphere. On 27th
June, 2014, FilmySphere organized a
grand event that would celebrate the 125 day completion of Ugramm at Forum Mall in
Koramangala, Bangalore.
In this document, we will take you through a chronology of the events that bore witness to the
ceremony.
1. Inauguration – The inauguration was done with a song that sought the Almighty’s
blessings, with the stage all set for the show!
2. Introduction – The show was then taken over by two very talented MCs, Shashi
Deshapande and Shwetha Dharwadkar. These two young people carried on the show with
their brilliant sense of humour, keeping the crowd engaged throughout.
3. Jack’s Dance Performance – A talented artist named Jack volunteered to cheer up the
crowd with his dance performance.
4. Dance from Vijaya Film Institute – Vijaya Film Institute was also part of the
entertainers gathered there, and their students performed to the song from Ugramm.
5. Sri Murali’s Entry with Team Ugramm – Ugramm’s protagonist Sri Murali arrived
amidst tight security on stage during the event and was welcomed with a vermillion mark
on his forehead.
His appearance on stage was surprising but welcomed with open heart.
And the man himself began to dance…
6. Tilak Shekhar’s Entry – This was followed by Tilak Shekhar, who also has played a
prominent role in Ugramm, as he shared the stage with Sri Murali.
7. Sri Murali’s Speech – Sri Murali thanked the crowd and FilmySphere for playing a
pivotal role in the success of Ugramm.
8. Tilak Shekhar’s Speech – Actor Tilak also began by thanking the audience and spoke
about his experience in being part of the film.
9. Ganesh, CEO of FilmySphere, Spoke – Ganesh H. S., the CEO of FilmySphere
spoke and addressed the audience by saying that FilmySphere was happy to connect
audience and the films, at the same time, by being associated with Ugramm’s team and
their distributors, Thoogudeepa Distributors. He thanked Thoogudeepa Srinivas and
the makers of Ugramm and expressed for a long term association with the teams.
Rudresh H. S., co-founder of FilmySphere joined with Shashi Deshapande and further
indulged in entertaining the crowd.
10. Showtime – The addresses by either founders ended and they got back to their seats
with the guests, which kickstarted the entertainment programs scheduled for the day.
11. Vivek, the Rockstar – Vivek Nag, a singer registered at Talent Sphere, got on the
stage to show his talent with his guitar.

12. Co-Founder Gaurish Akki’s Speech – Veteran mediaperson Gaurish Akki is also
one of the founders of FilmySphere and it was his turn in addressing the gathering.
13. The Felicitation – Time had come for the actual event, the felicitation of Team
Ugramm. Here are some exclusive pics of FilmySphere honouring the achievers who
were part of the movie and the efforts behind it. The first pic shows FilmySphere co-
founder Rudresh felicitating Sri Murali with the trophy.
Tilak Shekhar was felicitated by Gaurish Akki, who is also the co-founder of
FilmySphere.
Preetham Puneeth, an actor, and a long term friend of FilmySphere, was one of the
guests at the venue and honoured accordingly.
Actors Sharath Kumar and Pradeep Poojary, along with cinematographer Bhuvan
Gowda were next on list.
14. More Performances – Saptaswara, a talented bunch of musicians and artists, showed
off their skills by beatboxing and drumming on stage.

Finally, it was a combined team effort by FilmySphere which ensured the event went on
unhindered, with strong support from Forum Mall and their staff, without which the event
could not have been a grand success.
Thus ends the story of Ugramm’s 125 Day event celebration, which carried on
splendidly in the heart of Forum Mall, and etching on in the hearts of all those who
had gathered there.
