Types are:Hierarchical, relocation, contagious, or stimulus When Cultures/Ideas Meet .Watch the video for the following:Acculturation: Process of learning to operate within new culture. Adoption of 2nd culture; learning a new language, can be forced on a person. Acculturation: May speak English at work, but Russian at home.

Assimilation: Abandonment of most aspects of an original culture. Ethnic identity lessons and behaves as the majority behaves.
