2. Plantation –
Every year all students and teachers
compulsorily participate in tree plantation in
the campus and rural schools adopted
The UGC vide letter D.O.No. F.14-5/2015
(CPP-II) dated 02.08.2019 appealed to carry
out special plantation drive based on the
concept of “one student one tree
programme”
The Board of Management resolved that the
plantation and upkeep be linked with the
degree of the student (Meeting no.35 dated
01.09.2019)
Each student planted a sapling from this
academic session (2019-20)
His name/class/subject/faculty are mentioned
on a metal plate fixed near plant
Recording of plant height at the time of
plantation, 1 year, 2 years and 3 years along

Two Science clubs, one in the Faculty of
Education and other in a Lab School of the

• Under CBCS 24 interdisciplinary courses are
proposed open to all students. The P.G.
students have to opt a skill course other than
their own subjects
• SWAYAM non-credit course are also
incorporated in the curriculum under CBCS.

• Each subject syllabus is divided in five units
and the paper is also divided into 5 sections.

• At UG level candidate fails in more than two
courses (except General Hindi/ General

Education) in any year of the course shall be
declared failed and will not be promoted to the
next class. Candidate who fails in more than
two courses but passes in practical he/she will
be required to appear again in all the courses
except practical only as an ex student
• A candidate will be given a maximum of three
chances at the main examination and the
corresponding supplementary examination. If
he/she does not pass the examination even
hereafter, he/she will be eligible for re-
admission
• Continuous and comprehensive evaluation
system
• Dissertation work for the students who secure
55% or more marks at PG (Hindi)
• Internal assessment (20% to 30%) based on
participation of students in co-curricular
activities, daily attendance, yoga and
