Eat Play Breathe York is a community-based

movement seeking to ensure that healthy lifestyle choices are always available and convenient for

those who live, work, play and

learn within the City of York.

By listening to and understanding the needs of community members, forming local partnerships and implementing policy, system and environmental changes that promote healthy eating and physical activity, and decrease tobacco use and exposure, we believe that we can create a healthier York for the current and future generations.

About Us

Bring On Play(BOP) is a

committee of individuals and

organizations, working together to

increase play opportunities within the City of York. Established in 2008, BOP has successfully renovated 5 City parks, hosted innumerable play events and has created a spirit of fun for children and adults alike!

Our Mission BOP's mission is to renovate one playground per year in the City of York with the community's support to design, fundraise, and build. Through programs, events and new play spaces, BOP promotes

active lifestyles and encourages family interaction.

BOP 2015 Join our committee as we launch a 2-year project to rebuild both playgrounds at Memorial Park.

We’re also introducing a new concept of “Play Everywhere” to incorporate playful activities into daily routines, such as interactive bus shelters, painted sidewalk hopscotch, and whatever else we imagine!
