There’s no easier, more affordable way to give your model superior performance capability and high speed potential! It’s a no-questions-asked deal. No matter what condition your engine, electric power system, or radio system is in, so long as it’s complete, it can be exchanged for the new system at the special price. You may also use the Power-Up program to simply replace a worn or damaged Traxxas electric power system, nitro engine, or radio system with new components at a savings of 50% off the current retail price. Whether you use the Power-Up Program to enhance the speed and power of your model or simply maintain factory-fresh performance, you’ll save both time and money. It’s easy and a great deal! 2. Preparing the engine or motor and speed control for exchangeMake sure the engine(s) being exchanged is complete. Exchange engines MUST be complete with crankcase, crankshaft, piston, sleeve, connecting rod, cylinder head, backplate, and carburetor. Be sure to KEEP your EZ-Start assembly, header, clutch assembly, flywheel and engine mount, these items are not supplied with new engines.

Make sure the speed control(s) and motor(s) being exchanged are complete. Exchange speed controls MUST be complete with heatsink, motor wires with bullet connectors, and Traxxas connector. Exchange motors MUST be complete with wires with bullet connectors and endcap. Remove the pinion gear from the motor, as a pinion is not supplied when exchanging for a new Velineon brushless system. Note: Traxxas only accepts complete motor and speed control systems for Power-Up exchange. You may not return a motor by itself in exchange for a new motor, or a speed control by itself in exchange for a new speed control.
