Case Study: Imalux• Imalux Corporation was founded in 1996, based
on a novel imaging technology, Optical Coherence Tomography (OCT). In 2000, initial seed funding through CRDF’s Next Steps program enabled Imalux to start the process of commercialization with the Russian Institute of Applied Physics. Since that time, with additional funding totaling more than $10 million, Imalux succeeded in being the first OCT company to develop and bring to market a platform OCT imaging system.
