LinkedIn – Who?• Users, mainly corporate – Customers, colleagues, bosses, competitors.• Average member is college educated 43 year old.• More than a quarter are senior executives.• Every Fortune 500 company is represented.
Linked In– Other bits• Recruiters find the highest level of employees through it – Oracle found their CFO Jeff Epstein on LinkedIn.• On the site most users have jobs.• The days of cloaking your private information are gone – take control and make sure you are found and that when found you are looking sharp.• Googling customers, candidates, potential service providers is now commonplace.
