PositioningtheBrackets
Identifytheendbrackets(rectangularbrackets)–thebracketsarestampedwith“LHorRH”theLHisforthelefthandsideofwindowandRHforrighthandsideofthewindow.
Wheninsidemountingtheblind,it’srecommendedthatthebracketsbeinstalled15mmbackfromthefrontofthewindowtoallowforinstallationofthevalancepelmet.
TheCenterSupportbracketsaretobespacedevenly-Its’Importantthattheseavoidtheliftingladdersoftheblind.Thebestwaytocheck;firstdeterminecenterbracketspacingandcheckthismeasurementagainsttheactualblind–ifthemeasurementfallsonablindtiltingmechanism,thenadjustthismeasurementsothatitisinbetweenthemechanisms.
MountingtheBrackets
Openthehingedgateoftheendbrackets(thisshouldhingeupwardsifcorrect)–thensecureintopositionusingthecorrectfastnerforyourwalltype.Forafacemountusethescrewholepositionsatthebackofthebracketplate.Forrecessmount,it’sprefferedtousethescrewholepositionsinthesideofthebracket,asthisisastrongestfixinglocation–twoscrewsperbracketissufficent.
Thenfixthecentersupportbracket(CS)–makesurethebackbracketisspacedthesamefromtherearofthewindowasthesidebracketssothatheadrailhasenoughdepthtocomfortobalyfit.
WhenRecessfittingintoconcrete,youmayencounterasteellintelwhenfixingthecenterbracket,twofixingscrewsissufficentinthiscase.ThisSteellintelisdifficulttodrillthrough,onceyouhave‘struck’thelintelwithyourmasonarydrill,youmustthenswitchtouseaverysharp7-8mmdrillbitona
normaldrill.Onceyouhavedrilledthroughthelentil,switchbacktoyourmasonarydrillandcontinueinstallationasperusual.
MountingtheBlind.
IfyourVenetianisPVC,installthevalanceclipsontoyourblind–theseshouldberoughlyspacedevenly.
NowslidetheheadrailintothebracketsandclosethegateontheendoftheLHandRHbracket.
AttachingtheValancePVCVenetian
Nextattachyourvalancetothevalancebrackets–thisisachievedbyhangingtherecessedchannelonthevalanceontothetopofthevalancebracket.Thenbypushinguponthebottomtabofthevalancebracketandpushingthevalance,thevalancewillclipintoplace.Startononesideoftheblindandworkyourwaytheotherside.

Attachthevalancehangerbracketssothatthetopthattheyareflushwiththetopedgeofthevalance.Theseshouldbeapproximatelyevenlyspacedacrossthewidth.
Oncetheseareattachedthevalancecanbecarefullysecured,byhangingthebracketsonthefrontedgeoftheblindsheadrail.
Tocompletetheinstallation,mountthecordcleatonthewallontheliftingcordside.
