Did you know?
Humans are visual first, verbal second
What does this mean for your organization? It means that you must start telling your organization’s “story” (the work you do, people you help, funds distribution) in a way that people find compelling, concise and original. This is where visual storytelling comes to play.
Visual Storytelling: Ideas, emotions and plot are expressed through performance and aesthetics as opposed to dialogue (The International Film School of Paris). Visual storytelling uses graphic design, infographics, illustration, and photography to convey information in the most elegant, entertaining, and informative way.
In this era of information overload, people are relying more on videos, pictures or infographics to quickly assess whether a cause or organization is worth supporting.
