02 AQUAMONIX
DESCRIPTION The Aquamonix MP47 and MP65 Multiparameter Sensors provide a complete self contained measurement and data logging system for a wide range of environmental water monitoring applications. The sensors provide the ability to measure single or multiple water quality parameters (up to 4 parameters on the MP47 and 6 parameters on the MP65) within the single sensor providing users the choice to select the parameters which best suits their application.
Users have a choice of the following parameters:
• Pressure
• pH
• Oxygen Reduction Potential
• Electrical Conductivity
• Temperature
• Turbidity
• Optical Dissolved Oxygen
The sensor includes an internal data logger to provide long term data collection at remote sites. The sensor can be fitted with an external cable, or with an on-board battery pack for true stand alone operation. Serial output (RS232 or RS485) in Modbus or optional SDI12 allow connection to an external data logger or process
controller as well as options for remote telemetry connection.
A durable corrosion resistant body, rugged construction utilising double “O-Ring” ensures suitability for harsh environments. The sensor comes fitted with a fully moulded polyurethane cable as standard. Other cable options are available.
The parameters selected are available in various ranges. The pressure sensors can be supplied as either a gauge (vented) or absolute (non vented) sensor. Gauge sensors utilise the closed vent system (CVS) to provide barometric pressure venting with minimal maintenance. The MP65-3000 is ideal for use in hydrographic and environmental water monitoring applications, including tidal and estuary monitoring. The MP47-3000 sensor uses a slimline housing suitable for groundwater monitoring. Both units are easy to configure and operate using the supplied SensorMate software.
FEATURES • Low power usage enables long term
remote operation
• Internal data logger for collection of data during critical events
• Telemetry options via mobile phone, radio and satellite
• SDI12 cable adaptor unit for connection into data logger or controller.
• Modbus RTU or ASCII
• RS232 or RS485/422
BENEFITS • Can be installed in active waters
(acidic or salty conditions)
• Reliable and robust sensor ensures minimal servicing visits
• Suitable for marine applications and waterways with high sediment loads
• Easy to configure logger – quick retrieval of data using SensorMate software
• Graphical and tabular display – export to spreadsheet format.
• Stand alone operation with on board Battery Pack
• Various cable options for telemetry and integration applications
APPLICATIONS • Monitoring of streams and rivers,
lakes and urban waterways
• Groundwater and Surface water hydrographic data collection
• Water supply storages, Runoff Studies, Flood Warning
• Tidal, estuary and oceanographic monitoring.

02 AQUAMONIX
DESCRIPTIONThe PH1000 is a fully submersible sensor, well proven to withstand harsh field conditions. Applications include the salty or acidic water conditions found in sewer, surface and groundwater. The sensor requires low voltage power supply and provides a calibrated 4–20 mA output.
Designed with input and support from real users, the PH1000 is a rugged sensor that is also easy to service and clean in the field. The smooth lines of the durable Acetal body with double O-ring design minimise ragging in sewer applications. The shrouds that protect the electrode from impact are easily removed for cleaning. The sensor is fitted with a moulded cable with a tough, polyurethane outer sheath that is reinforced with strong Aramid fibres that can support many times the sensor weight.
A special feature of the combination pH electrode is a reference protection ring. Made from porous PTFE which is impregnated with a special conductive gel, this ring prevents chemical or biological fouling from reaching the
reference. The low cost protection ring can be simply replaced if it is contaminated or fouled, extending the life of the combination electrode. At the end of its life, the electrode can be replaced by the user in the field without the need to return the sensor to the factory.
The pH1000 sensor is easy to install and provides a reliable solution to long term monitoring. For more information please contact your nearest sales office.

DESCRIPTIONThe EC250 Electrical Conductivity Sensor provides highly accurate conductivity measurements in a wide range of hydrological applications.
Exceptional reliability and chemical resistance are guaranteed by the state of the art toroidal measuring system. Advanced microprocessor technology provides highly accurate temperature compensated measurements.
Field conductivity measurements in ionised solutions have traditionally been fraught with inaccuracy due to temperature and electrode effects. The EC250 Sensor substantially eliminates these conventional sources of error. A larger sized toroidal sensor element uses the free ions in solution as a conductive path between two shielded ferrite transformer cores. This system eliminates errors caused by electrode degradation. An advanced compensation algorithm in the on-board microprocessor substantially reduces system non-linearity and temperature drift errors.
The sensor is ideal for use in a
wide range of monitoring and environmental projects. A durable corrosion resistant body and double O ring sealing ensures suitability for harsh environment applications. The sensor comes fitted with a moulded polyurethane cable.
The EC250 is easy to install and provides users with a rugged and reliable solution to long term monitoring. For more information please contact your nearest sales office.
