The Butrovich Building ishaving some growing pains�and just about everybodywho works in the building issharing the pain�

The University of Alaska ison the move after a decadeof reducing� reallocating andstruggling to make all theends meet� We’re addingpeople� workstations andoffices� and now it hasbecome necessary to remodeland reshape the ButrovichBuilding to accommodate thegrowth� and to move somesections to other space�

Through the summer� Onthe Move will come outweekly in an effort to keepeverybody up#to#date onwhat’s going on�

Land Management andBudget & InstitutionalResearch have moved to theWhole Earth building at ))*+Deborah Drive� In Butrovich�the General Counsel’s officehas temporarily relocated tofirst floor space vacated byBudget & InstitutionalResearch�

north to allow expansion ofthe storage areas behind thepay phone� which will be outof service until at leastSeptember�

Hats off to two individualswho are most impacted by allthis moving� John Dickinsonand Jennifer Bowers� whoplanned and implementedthe move� Under difficultand stressful circum#stances� they havebeen considerate�patient� and helpfuland still manage tosmile much of thetime� Thanks� Johnand Jennifer�
