GMS (Georgia Military Scholarship)
The GMS is a $70,000 full-ride scholarship and it is only available at The University of North Georgia (UNG) Or Georgia Military College. It requires students to commission as a second lieutenant in the Georgia Army National Guard after finishing college. It pays 100% of college costs, including; room, meals, tuition, fees, uniforms and books. In addition to the scholarship benefits, students who are offered this scholarship will make about $40,000 in pay and benefits over their four years in college. After commissioning, Guard lieutenants start at about $7,500 per year for training one weekend per month and two weeks during the summer.

Vernon E. Carne Scholarship (Georgia United Credit Union)
Named for the founder of the Credit Union, the Vernon E. Carne scholarship focuses on a short essay of 250 words or less. FCREA Scholarship
The Forsyth County Retired Educators Association is awarding a $1,000 scholarship to a deserving senior from one of the five eligible high schools. George W. Jenkins Scholarship
Emory is pleased to announce a new partnership with Publix Super Markets Charities to offer the George W. Jenkins Scholarship. The George W. Jenkins Scholarship is a four-year scholarship awarded to admitted first-year students who have overcome extraordinary difficulties. The Jenkins Scholarship is open only to U.S. citizens who will be graduating from high schools in Alabama, Georgia, Florida, South Carolina, and Tennessee (all of which are home to Publix Super Markets). The George W. Jenkins Scholarship was established through the generosity of Publix Charities in partnership with Emory University in honor of the innovative self-starter and civic minded Publix founder. The award includes full tuition, fees, on-campus room and board, and a stipend each semester. In addition, the scholarship provides a computer at the start of the program of study. Two incoming Emory College first-year students will be named the George W. Jenkins Scholars each academic year. The scholarship is renewable for four years of undergraduate study with students needing to maintain at least a 3.0 GPA and full-time enrollment. Successful candidates will show in their application for admission purposeful engagement impacting their community, a strong work ethic, a history of overcoming significant adversity, and high financial need. All students who complete their application for admission and financial aid by our stated deadlines will be reviewed for this scholarship. Jim and Jeanne DeSana Scholarship
The DeSana Scholarship will award and distribute a $5000 scholarship and it will be awarded and distributed over a four year period. This scholarship will be awarded to a student who can demonstrate financial need, leadership skills, extra-curricular activities, academic performance, academic and other scholastic awards and community involvement.

RiSE Scholarship
Student who have current documentation of a learning disability and at least a 2.5 GPA. These students can earn money for college by completing the following application attached here: RiSE Scholarship Application To be eligible students must be planning to attend a college or university and have submitted their application for admission prior to submitting their RiSE scholarship application. Documentation may include an I.E.P. and / or 504 plans, a letter from your psychologist who performed the educational testing or school counselor which details the diagnosis. The diagnosis of ADHD/ADD, alone, is not considered.

AES Engineers Scholarship
AES believes that achieving a high grade point average should not be the only criteria for determining who deserves to be helped. The Asian Pacific Islanders for Professional and Community Advancement (APCA) is seeking qualified applicants for its 2015 National APCA Scholarship Program.

Georgia Business Aviation Association (GBAA)
The Georgia Business Aviation Association (GBAA), based is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization that promotes business aviation in the State of Georgia. One of our biggest commitments to our member companies is giving back to our community by providing scholarships to deserving Georgia High School graduates pursuing a career in aviation.
Applicants must be either a recent Georgia High School graduate or a graduating senior, have a cumulative 3.0 GPA, write a 500-1000 word essay as to why a scholarship will help them achieve their dreams in aviation and provide at least one letter of recommendation from a teach, mentor, coach, pastor, etc. We award all of our scholarships in person at our GBAA Annual Members Meeting and Golf Tourney held on the first Friday in May. The Optimist Club scholarship is a one time, $1,000 scholarship. The purpose of the scholarship is to provide educational opportunities for worthy qualified students who might otherwise be denied the opportunity for a higher education.

Through the SunTrust Bank scholarship sweepstakes, thirty (30) $500 scholarships will be awarded for education expenses at a college or university. This scholarship is open to high school seniors and current undergraduate college students.

Young Entrepreneur Award
An applicant for the NFIB Young Entrepreneur Awards need to be a graduating high school senior who is entering his or her freshman year at an accredited two-or-four-year university, college, or vocational institute in the fall of 2015 and who owns/operated an established business. Many applications participate in DECA, FBLA or FFA, among other organizations, but this is not a requirement. The Award recipients are selected by an independent scholarship organization. 17th Annual NFWL-NRA Bill of RightsEssay Scholarship Contest
To be eligible for this year’s essay contest, applicants must be college-bound female high school seniors (Class of 2015). All applicants are required to secure a woman state legislator as a sponsor. The six contest winners and their sponsoring legislators also must be able to attend the entire NFWL Annual Conference where students will be presented with the award. The Conference will take place November 19th-22nd, 2014 in Philadelphia, PA. The Coca-Cola Scholars Foundation supports more than 1,400 college students each year, with annual scholarships of $3.4 million through two nationally recognized programs on behalf of the Coca-Cola System. Georgia4 Scholarship
The Georgia4 Scholarship is a $4,000 per year scholarship for students admitted to the University of the South’s Class of 2019 who are permanent residents of the state of Georgia. There is no additional application for the Georgia4 Scholarship; it is automatically awarded to students who meet these requirements. Students receiving the Georgia4 Scholarship must maintain satisfactory academic progress to maintain the scholarship.

Ronald McDonald House Charities U.S.Scholarship Program
Students across the country work hard to earn top marks, dreaming of the college they'll attend and the education they'll receive. Unfortunately, many of these students won’t be able to afford it. Georgia Southwestern
Georgia Southwestern offers numerous scholarships to incoming freshmen that are funded through the generosity of our alumni, parents, former faculty members and friends of the university. Each year, we invite exceptional applicants to attend the Southwestern Scholars Competition where they will interview and compete for their share of more than $500,000 in scholarship money awarded annually.
There is only one application to apply for the 21 different scholarship funds available to incoming freshmen at Georgia Southwestern. Approximately 20% of our freshman class receives merit-based scholarships from Southwestern. Please remind your students that the scholarship deadline is February 1, 2015.
Applications submitted after that date will only be considered if additional funds become available.

The COAG Scholarship is open to any Georgia high school senior (or a GED equivalency dated December 31, 2014 to May 31, 2015) who is a United States and Georgia citizen graduating by the spring of 2014 or any student currently enrolled in a school of accredited higher education located in Georgia, who is a United States and Georgia citizen, is eligible to apply for a 2015 COAG Scholarship.

2014-2015 Alice Dodd Scholarship for Outstanding Community Service 2014-2015 Bobby Dodd Scholarship for Outstanding Community Service (awarded to a physically challenged student).

GE-Reagan Foundation Scholarship Program
2015 GE-Reagan Foundation Scholarship Program. Created to honor the legacy and character of President Ronald Reagan, this program annually rewards up to 20 college-bound students who demonstrate exemplary leadership, drive, integrity, and citizenship with $10,000 renewable scholarships (up to $40,000 per recipient).
Like President Reagan, candidates use the formative experiences of their youth to lead, serve, and pursue a life of progress, both individually and for their communities. MLK Scholarship
Students grades 6-12 are invited to participate in a new activity to build student grit while honoring the Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.
Part of this activity asks students to reflect on and articulate their core purpose in terms of the difference they want to make for others. Reusable Bag Design Contest and Scholarship
In partnership with Country Financial, the Peachtree Road Farmers Market is excited to announce the third annual Peachtree Road Farmers Market Reusable Bag Design Contest.
This year’s theme is “Live, Love, Be Green.” Students are asked to include imagery inspired by the spring/ summer season and the corresponding regional market goods, such as fruits, vegetables, flowers, etc. We also ask participants to illustrate the spirit of the city. Designs must include the words “2015 Peachtree Road Farmers Market.”
The student who submits the winning design will receive a $1,000 scholarship and the opportunity to have his/her artwork displayed on reusable shopping bags distributed throughout the city. Additionally, two runners-up will each receive a $500 scholarship. These designs will be unveiled on April 11 at the Peachtree Road Farmers Market, and the three finalists will be invited to attend.

Students graduating from one of the four area Forsyth County High Schools and who will be attending the University of Georgia in the Fall of 2015 may apply for this scholarship.

Delta Upsilon Fraternity at GaTech“Building Better Men” Scholarship
The Delta Upsilon Fraternity at Georgia Tech is proud to provide its Building Better Men Scholarships for the second year. Any incoming students to the Georgia Institute of Technology this coming Summer or Fall, are encouraged to apply at www.GTDU.org under the scholarship tab.
Some information to note is GPA is only considered as one application component, so this is a perfect opportunity for well-rounded individuals to earn a well-deserved award to support tuition. Second, the student is not required to join or even rush (express formal interest) in the Delta Upsilon fraternity. In fact, two out of the three 2014 recipients chose not to join our brotherhood.
The possible awards are one $1500 scholarship and two $500 awards. They are based on achievements which exemplify DU's four founding principles: The Promotion of Friendship, Development of Character, Advancement of Justice, and Diffusion of Liberal Culture. If a student is selected from their resume and application, then they are invited to an interview which takes place during their freshmen seminar (FASET) or at their convenience.
Award recipients will be announced the first week of school in August.
