SGA Distinction Award: Academic Excellence From the Lehman College Student Government Association (SGA), Distinction Awards Committee.Award: The SGA Distinction Award for Academic Excellence will be awarded to 1 student, who will receive an award of $600.
Eligibility: Must be enrolled in the Spring 2013 semester Must be an undergraduate student with a cumulative GPA of 3.5 or above OR a graduate student with a cumulative GPA of 3.5 or above
Process: Complete and submit the application, including the declaration form on the next page. In addition, applicants must submit the following materials:
(1) Lehman unofficial transcript(2) Proof of attendance (Such as a validated Lehman College ID)(3) Letter of recommendation(4) Personal Statement
Submit all requested information to Old Gym building, room 007 in a sealed envelope addressed to: Lehman College Student Government – Distinction Award CommitteeSGA – OG Room 007
Personal Statement (1-3 Pages)Write a one to three page essay about the following:
(1) Other than your evident intellectual ability, what distinguishes you from your peers?
AND/OR
(2) How has your education contributed to who you are today?
Please make sure the composition is both double spaced and in Times New Roman ‘12’ Font.
Deadline: April 18th, 2013. No Later than 7:00pm
