The Parish Church will be hosting our Diocesan Synod on Saturday, November 30d. Carol Blacklock will be
gathering names for those who would like to volunteer for shifts as greeters, elevator operators and parking
lot attendants. If you would like to help this year please see the sign-up sheet at the Charlotte Street entrance. Thank you in advance for your willingness to help us
show true hospitality. SUNDAY SCHOOL
There is a sign-up sheet for everyone who would be so kind as to volunteer to teach the Sunday School Class for a week or two this fall. The lesson will consist of
EVENSONGOur Organist, Alice Boyd, and the Organist at Holy Trinity in New Maryland, are preparing for two evensong services this
fall with a joint choir leading us. The first service will take place at Holy Trinity in New Maryland on Sunday, October
28 at 4 pm. The second will take place, Sunday, November 18, at 4 pm.
FRIDAY MORNING COFFEE CORNER ON CHARLOTTEThank you to our Youth Group who made some treats for
our friends who gather on Friday Morning in the Kitchen off the Lounge. Now, we are looking for a few adults to
volunteer to host the Coffee Corner once a month (or more often if they wish). Time commitment would be from 9:30-
11:30 am. Please speak with the Rector if you would like to help out. This is a ministry where you will be blessed even
more than you will bless.
OPEN DOORS TOUR The city of Fredericton is opening its doors this weekend! Tours of old historic buildings all around town are going to be offering tours on Sunday September 23rd, from 1pm—
4pm. Both our beloved St. Anne’s Chapel of Ease as well as the New Maryland Historic Church will be participating. Ann Morgan and Darrell Butler are two of the guides helping out this weekend, show your support for the community and our parishioners by taking a moment a dropping in to see them!
Farraline Place The annual fundraising dinner for Farraline Place Seniors’
Home will be held on Saturday, October 20, 2018 at the Fredericton Legion located at 199 Queen Street – with handicap access at both doors. The doors will open at

General Synod marriage canon. The primary focus will be on asking how we walk together as a diocese
regardless of individual viewpoints and any approved changes nationally. These will be open to all Anglicans,
