After a frantic year for us all, what better way to winddown than with a luxury, laid back Lounge Party?

Tickets are £65 each, and include a glass of Proseccoon arrival, substantial delicious bowl food, auction andraffle, DJ and music - all combining to give you plentyof time to catch up and chill.

Dress code is smart casual - be comfortable.

Tickets are on sale now from the school office - thedeadline to book your place is 5th June and tickets arealready selling fast. From 1st June we will be able totake online & card payments - moving the WHA intothe 21st Century. For full details, [email protected].

Back due to phenomenal public demand on 27th June isthe Westbrook Hay Family Funday!! Stalls! Inflatables!Entertainment! Tea! Cakes! Fun and Games! And ofcourse…… Pimms! The format has changed slightly, withthe Middle and Upper School stalls being run as part of aHouse competition.

In the evening after Funday (before it takes a Glastonburystyle break next year) is our Camp Out and Hog Roast.Tickets will be available from the start of June.

And how could we end the year without the children’sown wind down event, the School Disco? Free for everychild to attend on 2nd July in the marquee.

Full details on all of these events will follow imminently -keep an eye out for the posters!!

If you have a child at Westbrook Hay, you are automatically a member of the WHA.

A very full house, with 131children, parents andgrandparents supporting thisbiannual event. Gareth Exellwas our host with the most,and ensured the numberskept coming. Prizes galore,hotdogs, tuck shop and asplendidly stocked bar meanta lovely evening was had byall.

The evening had a lovely relaxedatmosphere and a great mix ofstalls from nutrition to jewellery,cosmetics and gifts. The pamperstalls were fully booked all night!From your feedback we will beunlikely to feature Boden again,but if we do we will ensure we letyou know about the other stallsand pamper opportunities.

Crossword clues and the addedextra of QR codes gave a freshnew look to the event this year.The rain held off until the veryend, and a great time was had byall. Thank you to all for the cakedonations - many of you haveasked what happened to the leftovers - the reality is, there werenone! By the time we havepacked up, many have been soldoff, and the very few that are leftare given to the helpers and staff.We throw any away.

As you know the Association have undertaken to support the school’s Woodlandarea, and on 10th May, several WHA members and teaching staff assisted MrsPearce & Mrs Webb on a working party to keep the area in top shape. As you cansee, its looking fabulous, and the Association are proud to support it.
