• Utilizes scanning technology
• Helps to ensure timely availability of the mail by the posted “up-time”

A barcoded placard is placed in the PO Box Section and scanned after the distribution of PO Box mail is complete

“Up-Time” is the time of day customers may expect to collect the mail that is committed for that day from their PO Box
Committed mail includes- First Class- Periodicals- Standard- Packages

IMDAS Scanner Setup
Follow standard IMDAS setup procedures for In-Office User
• Enter the facility ZIP Code• Enter route ID 00
At the In-Office main menu• Select Scan Barcode

Status Update Scanning tests show that IMDAS data
collection is working• 3,000 scans daily recorded from test sites
IMDAS software download at 82 % complete• Projected to exceed 98% by December 8
Compliance reporting for saturation mail will be available beginning the week of December 8
