WHO AM I?
SOME THINGS ABOUT KATI…
I was born May 5th , 1989 (Cinco de Mayo) I’m an only child and grew up with 5 dogs, 9 cats, 2 guinea
pigs and fish. I grew up in Spokane and every person I’ve talked to on the
West Side has no idea what Spokane is about or what it has to offer. They have the completely wrong impression of Spokane and Eastern Washington in general
I’m a big traveler. My parents are not materialistic at all and have invested all of their money into family vacations including a small condo in Hawaii because they believe experiences are more important than things.
My favorite things are being by / in the water, writing, guitar and dancing (which I have been doing since I was 4)
MY ORGANIC FACTORS: My mind which is a very busy mind, constantly obsessing and works in an
orderly manor. My body, which is active yet is more sleep dependant than an average body. My spirit, which thrives off kindness, has a passion for kids and animals and is courageous.
MY FAMILY SYSTEM: My family system affects me greatly. I share my dad’s
passion for music and my mom’s passion for animals. I practice Buddhism with my dad and go to a catholic church with my mom. My dad being a cook and computer geek has enabled me to know anything about cooking or computers because it has always been taken care of for me. And my mom has taught me independence and money management. Even though I am an only child, I have still learned about being in a big family because I have 14 aunts and uncles and 46 cousins. My extended family has influenced me by teaching me how to love, deal with a conflict of interest, opinionated people and devastation. I have already lost all of my grandparents, one aunt, one uncle and a cousin at the age of sixteen. I have experienced a lot of death of people whom were close to me. My family values have also greatly influenced me. Treat all people and creatures alike, education, simplicity and many other values my family has instilled upon me.

COMMUNITY SYESTEM My community system has influenced
me a lot. I value a tight-nit community due to events such as hoopfest, pig out in the park, blooms day and many other events Spokane has. My community has taught me diversity because the community I grew up in is made up of all different races, ethnic backgrounds, social class, and sexual orientations.

SOCIETY SYSTEM My societies culture, economy and media has made an
impact on my life as well. The economy constitutes what I buy, how often I work, where I go and how often I drive due to prices. Although this recession hasn’t been enjoyable, it has taught me to appreciate having a job, receiving an education and the things that I have. I have had to avoid the mass media because it leaves a negative impact on me. Only hearing reports of the bad things that go on around the world gives me a pessimistic attitude that’s hard to get rid of. Also, I am able to see past celebrity’s perfections. I know they have tons of money to get fake everything and their photos are photo shopped. But when reality TV shows became big (The Hill’s, shot of love, America’s top model) I saw that it wasn’t only celebrities that looked so glamorous but real people could as well. This has been problematic to my for me because of my eating disorders I’ve been fighting for years. Part of my body distortion therapy is to stay away from media like that.
GLOBAL SYSTEM I am impacted globally because of the
problems that exist in poverty stricken countries and it drives me to donate, join the peace core and adopt from other countries.

VALUES My standpoints and values are based off freedom and not making laws
that prevent other from doing or forcing others to do what I think is right, rather letting ever person, in every different situation, with all the different standpoints make decisions that work for them.
Freedom to practice or not to practice any religion they want, freedom to smoke marijuana if they choose to, freedom to have a child or not, freedom to join the military if they choose to, freedom to marry whom every they love, freedom to die when they’re in pain, freedom to get out of poverty, freedom to have health care.
ONE STANDPOINT WHERE I DON’T THINK FREEDOM IS A RIGHT
ONE STANDPOINT WHERE I DO THINK FREEDOM IS A RIGHT
REACTION PATTERNS Immediate empathy and sympathy,
which can cause me to get attached too easily.
Bad temper when it comes to people doing things I believe is wrong or disrespectful.
I am a reactive person, I don’t hold things in.
I can be confrontational if one pushes my buttons.
STRENGTHS Positive and optimistic person. Realistic when it comes to a situation (don’t
give false hope). I’ve seen, dealt with and been through a lot so
far so I can handle things well (strong core). Hard worker Anything that’s having is worth fighting for
(never give up). Good when it comes to talking about problems
and I’m always willing to compromise. Organized
LIMITATIONS Sensitive (hurt feelings, take things
personally) Let things get to me Can’t let things go Stubborn Stress
