Writing a Competitive Grant Proposal Workshop

This 1½-day, intermediate-level course is for MD and PhD researchers in the field of radiology or related sciences who are pursuing funding from the federal government, foundations or societies. Using a combination of didactic and interactive small group sessions, NIH-funded researchers will provide guidance on writing grant applications, with an emphasis on reviewing your Specific Aims page.
LEARNING OBJECTIVES:
i Identify the funding opportunities that fit your personal circumstances of career stage, institutional environment, and personal interests.
i Explain the NIH grant review process and appropriate interactions with NIH program staff.
i Effectively communicate a research plan on the specific aims page.
