• A national initiative focused on the country’s most challenging families:- children not attending school- parents long term unemployed- criminal activity
• 1,350 troubled families identified across Hertfordshire
• Families meeting all three criteria automatically eligible
• LA to use discretion over families meeting any two criteria
• £4.5m over 3 years - payments by results
