FROM PRESIDENT’S DESK
Hello Readers
I hope SPE Orbit is serving its purpose, as it is the chapter's effort to bring you
a quality for-the-students-by-the-students magazine. It is a pleasure to write
a column for SPE Orbit and get a chance to interact with you all. SPE PDPU
Student Chapter has been thriving on bringing Oil and Gas Industry closer to
academia and has left no stone unturned in providing students with the
opportunity to get acquainted with the industry better. The previous year
brought laurels to the chapter as we could manage to stay aligned with our
goals and provide service to the student fraternity.
This year the chapter aims at making the programs more interactive and
more of member driven so that everyone can take part and learn while
doing. This approach shall facilitate the members with a choice to select
what suits them rather than sitting and waiting for what's being served.
SPE PDPU Student Chapter has set a goal for making the student members
more deployable in the industry and also make them conscious towards the
society and the environment. The Chapter's aim is to assist student to unfold
his/her true potential and facilitate with a platform to do so. For this the
chapter has planned an array of events throughout the year covering
different domains of life and sciences, with an ultimate goal of producing a
responsible human being.
Talking about what are we doing now, we are ready with our shoe laces
fastened to run towards a successful organization of the next big thing PDPU
